IVAT has negotiated a special rate with parkingaccess.com, a national provider of airport parking reservations, for airport parking at your departure airport. Airport Shuttle

ShuttleFare.com is offering a $5 discount off airport shuttle transportation to and from Airport and your Hotel for Summit attendees. You can register [HERE] with the discount code IVAT18 to receive your discounted shuttle rate. Once you have completed your reservation a confirmation email will be sent to you containing the travel voucher with information on how to catch your shuttle.

Convention Center Parking

The Hawai’i Convention Center will have parking rates starting at $10 per entry, vehicles that leave within 30 minutes of entering will not be charged. Both the Ramada and Doubletree are within ten minutes walking distance of the Convention Center.

On-Site Check-In

When you arrive at the Honolulu Convention Center, please check in at one of the Registration Tables in the Exhibit Hall. Be sure to bring a form of picture ID so that we can ensure we are giving you the right registration badge.

If you have not yet paid your registration fees, or if you are registering on-site, you will be directed to the Payment Table where Erycha Butler will assist you with any final payments needed. Once your fees have been paid you will be able to receive your badge at a Registration Table.


Navigating the Summit

Socio Events App

Depending on your selection during registration, you will either receive a hard copy of the Summit Program at Check-In or will be using the Socio Events App to access all the necessary program information. If you are using Socio, we recommend downloading the app ahead of time to become familiar with its use. You can search “IVAT 15” to find the Summit page, then click “Join”, press “OK” if prompted for an access code, and you can find everything you need right from your smartphone. A handout on how to use Socio will also be made available to you at Check-In if needed.

Presentation Handouts

One of the perks of using Socio is easy access to all the Presentation Handouts right from the app. By selecting “Documents” on the second page of the icon banner, you can find a list of Presentation Handouts sorted by presentation code and title. If you have an iphone, you can access the documents from the app by clicking the desired presentation. For android users, clicking the desired presentation will prompt a download of the PDF, which you can then open on your device. Handouts will be uploaded, at the latest, the night before a presentation so you can pre-download all of your session handouts before heading to the Convention Center.

Alternatively, you can access all the Handouts on Dropbox. You can follow [THIS LINK] and enter the password 15Hawaii2018 to find all of the handouts that you could access from Socio. As will Socio, handouts will be uploaded the night before a presentation, making this an excellent option if you wanted to print out your own copies.

Self-Care Sessions

We know that the content of our sessions can be intense, making self-care an important resource for all attendees. A schedule of the self-care sessions can be found on the Socio app, in the program, and in the Schedule-at-a-Glance. All sessions are free of charge and do not require any pre-registration. Come and go as you need!

Food and Concessions

With such a tight schedule between, IVAT has set up some quick and affordable food options to enjoy on our busiest day of the Summit. Wednesday, April 18 from 11 AM - 2 PM, in the middle concourse between rooms 313 and 316, we will have our grab-and-go stands open so you can have lunch without risk of missing your next session by going off-site.


Continuing Education

Continuing Educations

All attendees requesting continuing education credits, will need to check in at the onsite CE desk. You will need to:

  • Check in each morning and out at the end of each day at the onsite CE desk
  • At each presentation room door, scan into the session as you enter and out as you depart

  • Certificates will be generated at the completion of the Overall Evaluation

 

Evaluations & Certificates

  • You will receive a corresponding Daily Evaluation for each day to the email you registered with

    • If you do not receive the Daily Evaluation each day, please contact patricias@ivatcenters.org – please let her know which days you missed and send an alternate email address

  • You will receive the Overall Evaluation following the close of the Summit to the email you registered with

  • At the completion of the Overall Evaluation, your certificate will be generated – it is your responsibility to print it

  • The certificate cannot be saved

  • Evaluation links are specific to the person with the email address – they cannot be shared

  • There will be an additional $25 fee for a duplicate certificate or certificate not generated through the Overall Evaluation
