Continuing Education at the Summit
IVAT is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. IVAT maintains responsibility for this continuing education program and its content. This Summit and Post-Summit meet the qualifications for up to 26.5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs &/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The BBS continues to recognize APA as an approved provider of CEUs for LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, & LEPs. The BBS continues to recognize NASW-CA as an approved provider of CEUs for LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, & LEPs. IVAT is approved by the State Bar of California to offer Minimum Continuing Legal Education for attorneys (#11600). IVAT is approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses to offer continuing education for nurses (CEP #13737). IVAT is approved by the California Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC) to offer continuing education for certified alcohol & drug counselors (Provider #1S-03-499-0219). IVAT has identified up to 26.5 hours of Victim Assistance related training to meet the renewal continuing education requirements for National Advocate Credentialing Program(NACP) Victim Advocates. This Victim Assistance renewal training would also be applicable for the D-SAACP (DOD Sexual Assault Advocate Certificate Program) NACP Victim Advocates are required to receive 32 hours of victim assistance related continuing education every two years, two hours must be in ethics. Please note that CE credits approved by CA agencies are accepted in most states.

Additional licensures for professionals, i.e. physicians, child custody evaluators, domestic violence offender treatment providers, etc. will be available. Due to the accreditation restrictions to not list prior to approval, we are prohibited from advertising them until approved.
