The Summit Assistant will assist in the planning, organizing, and execution of IVAT’s summits. The Summit Assistant is part of the Professional Training and Summits Division within IVAT.....

POSITION TITLE: National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violcene (NPEIV) Assistant
REPORTS TO:Report to and assist the President and President Elect of NPEIV, as well as the CEO of IVAT/NPEIV Executive Committee member with tasks related to NPEIV
HOURS: 9:00 AM- 5:00PM

The NPEIV Assistant supports the Executive Committee of NPEIV (including President, President-Elect, and CEO of IVAT) and the Board of Directors, which includes co-chairs of seven action teams, chair elects, and advisors, in the NPEIV vision of ending all types of interpersonal violence, for all people, in all communities, at all stages of life.

interested in being a volunteer/interning in the office?

We need volunteers and student-interns throughout the year for a variety of different tasks.  Our volunteers are eligible for significant discounts to IVAT Summits and Trainings.  We always need assistance with preparing for Summits as well as on-site Summit volunteers for both our Hawai`i and San Diego Summits. Additional internships and professional development opportunities are also available under Clinical and Forensic Services.

  • Bookstore/Entrepreneurship
  • Social Media outreach 
  • Graphic design & project assistance
  • Strategic Planning/Non-Profit Management
  • Fundraising/Outreach & Marketing 
  • General administrative assistance
  • Outreach/Volunteer Management
  • On-site Summit Support
  • Event Planning 

We also welcome interest in joining one of our Summit Planning Committees.  Active members of either the Hawai`i or San Diego Planning Committee are eligible for waived registration fees for one of the Summits.  Members participate in monthly meetings (call-in or in-person) as well as at least one subcommittee.
