Dates: April 12th - 14th, 2027
Location: Hilton Hawaiian Village Honolulu, Hawaiʻi
The Hawaiʻi Summit is a multidisciplinary gathering of professionals working together to tackle the major issues in fields dealing with violence, abuse, and trauma. International and local speakers come together to share their findings on causation, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation at both the global level and at smaller, community-based levels.
Summit attendees will have the opportunity to gain continuing education credits and meet professional licensure requirements. The Summit is also a great opportunity to network not only within your field, but also with professionals in other fields that may provide valuable insight into how theory and research is applied across disciplines.

“I have been to countless conferences in the last 15 years of being a researcher but this was my first time at this summit and from the opening plenary I knew this would be a different experience and one that kept me a lot more human and attuned with humanity which is unbelievably needed right now. It was so refreshing/restorative to be in space with cultural tradition/honoring/non-erasure of people and land and history... I cant say enough how meaningful having this model set for me was, and reminded me that I CAN move towards a very different version of academia and conferencing than it often feels possible to do...” - 22nd HI Attendee
“Wonderful mix of cultural, professional and compassionate values!” - 21st HI Attendee
“The content was amazing, it helped to ground in the native Hawaiian culture while also sparked my brain to think about new ways of talking about the issues we work on” - 22nd HI Attendee
“All the workshops were phenomenal! So much great information and applicable to my work!” - 22nd HI Attendee
